| What happens if people reply? |
| When the person gets your message on their phone you can, if you wish, allow them to reply back to the email address that sent the message e.g. if you sent an email to 07787123256.replyasdasd1a12sxss@24xgateway.com 077871256 would get your message on their phone. If they replied, the reply would be sent back to the person (email address) who sent the original email to us. This allows people to use their standard email system to interact with people using mobiles. NOTE: this is optional and is only activated if you use the word 'reply' in the email address we give you. If you don't require a reply your text message can be 'branded' with your company's name. You may be getting excited now and thinking how quickly can I get started? The answer is NOW. |
| Can I change the FROM(Sender) dynamically? |
| Most people want to send as the same person so they setup a default FROM in the web system and all Txts will appear to come from that FROM(Sender). If you want to change the 'Sender' you can use this format From.Mobile.Action.UniqueCode@24xGateway.com e.g. From=Kay Mobile=07787123256 Action=Body (i.e. just send the 'body' of the email, you could use the keyword 'subject' which would only send the 'subject' of the email) Uniquecode=Given by 24X - it's not your username it's a special code just for you to use. So sending an email to Kay.07787123256.body.46dsd66dfsdfsdfjj@24xgateway.com would send a message from 'Kay' to mobile 07787123256 saying whatever was in the 'body' of the email. |
